The loser now, will be later to win - Bobbie Dylan

Everyone loves a winner. Bill Clinton didn't do much for true liberal ideals, but he won, so every liberal love him. George Bush's success with the press is due in large part to spin, but is/was sustained by the belief in the press that Bush is a winner. Gore lost by being a loser. No one likes a loser. The press eats losers for breakfast.

We can define winners as people who have power and project a familiarity and confidence that they will always have power. Like fascists.

Sylvia Plath, said that every woman loves a fascist. That's really true. But that's because fascists are winners, and we know how people of all genders feel about winners.

But there's something else. Everyone loves to see a winner get dragged through the mud. Everyone loves to see shit burning. Or they should. Cause if you don't like to watch the powerful fall, then you just love the powerful. And that kinda messed up isn't? Never trust anyone who can look at a picture rioters and not see themselves throwing the burning trash on the cops. These people, these people who have forgotten what it's like to be angry, they can not be trusted. You don't have to throw the burning trash, just be happy when someone else does. If even for a second. And if you feel like your forgetting what you used to know, just put on some rock and roll, or some angry Dylan, and remember that life's beautiful like a brick in a cop's face.
